This is H speaking.
We have gained a lot of followers recently, so I thought I would take this opportunity to discuss why I originally made this tumblr almost 2 years ago.
Arkansas means the world to me. It is my home. I’ve lived here my entire life—except, of course, when I was abroad. Sometimes I feel like the state is dismissed by the rest of the American population. That hurts me to my very core. There are some good things about our state, which I (and the other admins) try to promote as often as possible on this tumblr.
Arkansas is not perfect. She has many flaws. However, these flaws don’t have to be permanent. We can eradicate racism, improve education, promote equality. We can improve the lives of fellow citizens.
Arkansas can improve if we all work together. So make your voice heard. Get involved. Be active in your community. I will try my damnedest to share organizations and events with y’all. Please feel free to submit something or shoot us a question in our ask box any time.
